What makes Chase different?

Based in beautiful Bailey, Colorado, Chase is more than just a climbing guide—he’s an educator, coach, and long-term partner in each client’s progression.

With a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and over a decade of experience in personal training and coaching, Chase brings a powerful combination of movement science, teaching expertise, and climbing knowledge. He doesn’t just show clients how to climb—he teaches them how to move efficiently, recover intelligently, and build lasting strength both on and off the rock.

What sets Chase apart is his relationship-driven approach. While many guides offer one-and-done experiences, Chase builds long-term connections with his clients. He creates custom training programs that extend beyond the climbing day, incorporating gym work, nutrition, sleep, and recovery strategies tailored to support each climber’s goals.

As a licensed physical educator, Chase is highly skilled in adapting his instruction to different learning styles—visual, kinesthetic, or auditory. He has coached individuals from ages 10 to 90+, always bringing patience, clarity, and encouragement to every interaction.

Whether working with new climbers or seasoned athletes, Chase’s goal is to help people become confident, capable, and independent—on the wall and beyond. His mission is to empower others through movement, education, and adventure, building not just climbers, but lifelong lovers of the outdoors.
